We are looking for an experienced Senior Enterprise Systems & Endpoint Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring secure, seamless, and optimized end-user computing environments across both macOS and Windows platforms.
Role Overview
As a Senior Enterprise Systems & Endpoint Administrator, you will be responsible for enterprise level administration, endpoint management, and advanced troubleshooting in a hybrid on-premises and AWS cloud environment. You will play a pivotal role in enforcing Zero Trust security principles, managing identity and access controls, and mentoring Level I technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Endpoint Management: Provide enterprise-level administration for both macOS and Windows operating systems. Oversee automated imaging, deployment, configuration management, patch management, and strict adherence to organizational security baselines.
- Platform Automation: Utilize and support premier endpoint management and automation platforms including Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Ivanti, and KACE to deploy software, manage devices, enforce compliance policies, and streamline routine IT workflows.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Manage and troubleshoot IAM services, including Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Active Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), and AWS integrated identity solutions.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex authentication, connectivity, and endpoint performance issues. Leverage system logs, Event Viewer data, macOS Console diagnostics, and other advanced monitoring tools to identify root causes.
- Incident Response & Collaboration: Coordinate cross team incident response activities. Work closely with the Service Desk, Network Operations, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure the timely investigation, escalation, and remediation of technical issues.
- Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure Support: Support cloud and hybrid environments with a focus on AWS hosted resources, identity services, and the seamless integration of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Security & Zero Trust: Ensure all endpoint, user, and network interactions strictly adhere to Zero Trust security principles and organizational compliance standards.
- Mentorship & Documentation: Create user friendly guides, meticulously document technical procedures, and mentor Level I technicians to elevate the overall capabilities of the Service Desk.
- Proven expertise in administering and troubleshooting Windows and macOS at an enterprise scale.
- Hands-on experience with MDM/Endpoint management tools (Intune, JAMF, Ivanti, KACE).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory, MFA, and RBAC administration.
- Deep knowledge of advanced system administration, including automated imaging processes, patch management, and baseline configurations.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into easy-to-understand guidance.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a professional and responsive demeanor.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (or equivalent)
- Apple Certified IT Professional
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or a higher-level AWS certification such as SysOps Administrator)
- ITIL Foundation (or equivalent service management certification)
- Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
